01) Purander Fort :

02) Korigad Fort :

It is very large fort located in Pune district of the state. Historically important it was build against in 1643 by Shivaji Maharaj at the age of 16 to make it the center of the Maratha empire it is an altitude of 1403 mt above sea level in the hill making it the highest hill fort in the district.
It is believed that this fort was built in the 13th century by Chalan Pant, a follower od the hindu God Shiva near the entrance is a main Dalvi devi temple, also known as the sun temple. In 1645 at the age of 16,shivaji Maharaj captured this fort, thus making it one of the fort of the Maratha empire.
13) Pratapgad Fort :
It is a hill fort which is situated close to the famous hill station of Maratha district. This fort stands at a height of about 3500 feet from the ground. It is also a major tourist destination that its height is still intact.
