01) Mussoorie :
It is one of the places where a lot of tourists reach every season. Because this place is very beautiful and it is also very close to Delhi. Here you can visit Kempty Falls, George Everest peaks, Lal Tibba, Gun Hill, point company garden. Mussoorie lake, Nag Tibba, Mall Road and cloud, end places to explore in Mussoorie.

04) Kausani :
Kausani is famous for its scenic beauty because of the views, Kausani is also called Switzerland of Uttarakhand, you can see Himalayan peaks from here. There are waterfalls and temples to visit in Kausani.
You can also do trekking here and apart from this, Kausani is also famous for stargazing. You can see the moon stars and planet in the clear sky at night. You can observe that its distance from Delhi is 435 KM.
You can reach here in some 11 hours drive. You can have quite pleasant whether here from March to October and between December and February. The whole town gets covered with sand which looks very beautiful.
05) Badrinath :
Badrinath is one of the Char Dham of India. Badrinath is situated in Chamoli district and its name has been kept from Badrinath temple, it is said that a person must do char dham yatra and come here in his life.
It is absolutely worth it, you will feel peace in your mind. Its whole year does not remain open, in winter due to heavy snowfall. You cannot come here, you can visit here. Its distance from Delhi is 560 km and you can reach here in 14 hours drive between May and November.
06) Auli :
In Auli you will get to see very beautiful Himalayan peaks and its best time to visit is December to February winter after snowfall. This place looks different. There are a lot of tourists coming here in winter for Skiing and hiking.
Auli is known as India’s Skiing capital apart from this Auli is also famous because of the 455km long rope way. It will take 25 min to cover the km, so in 25 Min you will get to see very Good views. You can reach by ropeway which starts from Joshimath ropeway.
Ticket price is around 1500 rupees per person. You can visit the artificial lake. Gorson Bugya trek in Auli. The height of Joshimath Chenab lake and temple auli is 2900 and its distance from Delhi is 500 km. In 12 hours you can reach here from Delhi by drive.
07) Nainital :
Nainital is famous for its amazing views. Nainital lake and pleasant weather, you can visit Nainital old temples, heritage building, tiffin top Birds sanctuary, Mall road, Eco cave Garden, Naina peak and many more you can enjoy boating in Naina lake. There is also a ropeway. Nainital and its length is about 2 km.
It takes about 10 min to cover it. It will take minutes, you will get to see very good views of the ropeway of the city and mountain. Its price is around 350 rupees. Though you can come here any time of the year but best time to visit is from March-June. The weather here is very pleasant.
08) Ranikhet :
This town is situated in Almora district and from here also you will get a lot of beautiful mountain peaks will be seen. There is Golf Course is a famous place in Ranikhet as Raja Hindustani movie was shot here.
If you are into photography, if you are fond of then you will find good spot here, apart from this, there is Ranikhet sunset point, Apple garden and many temples which are well known you can visit here. Its distance from Delhi is 380 km. You can reach here in some 9 hours drive and its best time to visit is April to November.
09) Chopta :
You can reach here in about 10 hours drive from Delhi. However there is a lot to explore in Chopta but it is most famous for Tungnath Temple which is the highest Shiva temple and Tungnath.
The height of the temple is about 3700m. You can reach this temple by trekking about 350 km from Chopta and on the way you will see amazing view. The best time to visit this place is April to August.
10) Kedarnath :
Kedarnath is one of the religious places in India and to reach Kedarnath temple you have to go by track, the total distance of the track is about 17 km.
Walk starts from Gaurikund to Kedarnath situated in Rudraprayag district and you will get direct buses from Haridwar to here. April and June is the best time to come here.
Right now in April itself, there will be a lot of crowd and the prices of all the hotels will also be very high if you go on foot. If you do not want to travel, you can also reach the temple by Helicopter and you can book it online as well.
11) The Corbett National Park :
In ram nagar you can do Jeep Safari , here you will get to see tiger elephant and many more animal here. Basically it has five major zone and you have to book in Advance.
Whether you want to go to all zones or in some particular zone. You have to book 45 days before going here. The price of this Jeep Safari is 5000 Rupees to 6000 rupees per person in which 6 person can go at a time here.
Jeep Safari is in two shifts morning and evening. Apart from this you can also have the option of elephant Safari. Some rules will be told which you will have to follow strictly, its distance from here to safety is 525 km. And you can reach here in an hours drive.
12) Landsdowne :
One of the offbeat places in uttarakhand. When you will find raw nature. You can also do camping and jungle Safari. Here you can visit temples, Bulq lake, Museum and top talking about snow view point and nature’s walk.
Best time to visit, you can go here in winter December. In the middle of February at this time you will also get to see snowfall here, its distance from Delhi is 270 km. You can reach here in 7 hours drive.
